Olivia Mebane Carter born the daughter of the late Keffer Mebane, Sr., and Luvenia Madden Mebane. She was the wife of Heyward "Jesse" Carter. She was the last survivor of her generation being preceded in death by her siblings: James E. Mebane, Dennis L. Mebane, Keffer Mebane, Jr. and Willie Mae Mebane Artis.
