Mrs. Mary Johnson Harris, 88 of 1421 Duggins Dr. transitioned on July 4, 2017 at Liberty Commons Nursing Facility.

She was the daughter of the late Finley Stylin Johnson and Etta Florence Roney Johnson and the wife of the late James Thomas Harris. She was a graduate of Jordan-Sellars High School and a retiree of Anadeen Hosiery Mill.  She was a devoted member of New Covenant United Holy Church. 

She is survived by her three children: Veronica R. Poteat, Karen M. Graves and Finley R. Graves (Corene); two brothers: James V. Johnson and Richard G. Johnson (Mary Louise); 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Larry W. Johnson and Steven B. Graves and siblings: Claven “Jack” Johnson, William Johnson, John Johnson, Clem Edward Finley Johnson, Helen J. Kelly, Sallie Johnson and Bennie R. Johnson.
