Mrs. Maggie Woods Lee 91, of 1004 Richmond Avenue, Burlington NC transitioned on January 11, 2017 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Samuel Woods and the late Neaver Walker Woods and the wife of the late Alonzo Lee, Sr.

            Survivors include: her sons: Alonzo Lee, Jr. “June” (Paulette) and Harold Dougals Lee “Doug”; four siblings: Inez W. Gant, Ernestine W. Hurdle (Charlie), William “Bill” Woods, Joe Lewis Currie; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and her extended families: The Ellington Family, The Chandler Family and The Powell Family.

            She was preceded in death by two additional sons: John Lee “Pumpkin” and Roger D. Lee “Moon” along with 5 brothers and 7 sisters.
