Mr. Mack Clinton Atwater was born on June 16, 1925 to the late Walter Atwater and the late Annie Johnson in Chatham County, North Carolina. 

He is survived by his wife Peggy Spinks Atwater; two step-sons: Frank J. Coleman (Iris) and Dewey M. Coleman; 7 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

He departed this life on June 8, 2017 at Peak Resources-Alamance.  He now joins his parents and siblings: Nello Atwater, P.T. Atwater, Thomas Vanhook, Christine Parrish, Marie Coble, Nancy Parker, Elma Parker. What a heavenly reunion.
