Mrs. Lula Mae Richmond Watkins, 74 of 2516 Hilldale Dr. transitioned in her home on November 28, 2017.  She was the daughter of Walter Richmond and Nancy Jane Wade Richmond both deceased and was the wife of James Watkins, also deceased.  

She was a 1962 graduate of Central High School, Graham and a member of Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church.     

Survivors include her children: Carmela W. Jeffers (Ernie) and Timothy Wayne Watkins; two grandchildren: Jaye Jeffers and Penny Watkins; 6 siblings: Rev. Jimmie Richmond (Dorothy), Minister Doretha Whittington (Charles), Janice R. Faucette, Dennis Richmond (Marion), Lee Holloman (Joe) and Ricky Richmond (Karen).

 She was preceded in death by three siblings: Billy Richmond, Shirley Stepney and Amanda Jane Kirkpatrick.
