Mr. James Woods transitioned on April 20, 2017 at Cone Health-Alamance Regional Medical Center.  He was the son of Jerry Lee Woods, Sr. and Flora Bell Alston Woods, both deceased.  He is survived by his daughters:  Joyce Woods Montague (Terry), Linda K, Garrick and Sabrina L. Woods; 4 grandchildren: Brandilynn Morrow, Heather Parrish-Allen (Steven), Joshua Garrick & Mackenzie Terry and 6 great-grandchildren: Hannah P. Stephens, Madison Parrish, Kamariah Morrow, Charlie Magnum, Elijah Robinson and Judah T. Garrick.  

            He was the last survivor of his generation: Mack Woods, Bennie Woods, Jerry Lee Woods, Jr., John C. Woods, Bonnie Woods Rogers, Neverta Woods and Carola Woods Alston. 

The family will receive visitors at the home of his daughter, Joyce W. Montague at 2707 Mirror Lake Dr. Burlington, NC.
