Mrs. Hazel Daye Alston 90, transitioned on April 2, 2017 at Ashton Place Nursing Facility. 

She was the daughter of Henry Daye and Onie Wilson Daye and the wife of Clarence E. Alston, Sr., all deceased. 

Survivors include: two children: Clarence E. Alston, Jr. “Bud” and Donna Alston; 4 grandchildren: Amelia B. Foster (Otis), Jay L. Alston (Nola), Ray J. Alston & Joey Ponzette and 7 great-grandchildren.
