Friday January 20 2023 224am: I am so sorry that second cousin Freddie Parker passed away I was not informed of his passing until Janice Jeffries informed me through text correspondence in December 2019. I have been recently doing family Genealogy again and I was thinking about my late father Nelson and his love and support for his North Carolina relatives. Joe Rudy and Freddie had a close knit relationship with my late father Nelson E Benton ( mother Thelma Jeffries Ferguson) They were are cousins and used to love to converse and have a great time together in North Carolina. I have been going through a hell of a lot at a young age with my internal health along with the tragic passing of my father Nelson in the Midwest but if I was informed in September 2017 when Freddie passed I could have at least flew down to North Carolina and paid my respects by attending the burial or funeral services or sent a sympathy card to the family. I would talk to Joe Rudy and Freddie when my pop would contact them on the phone just to stay in connection with his North Carolina family from Columbus Ohio. I gave Joe Rudy and Freddie my contact information after my father Nelson passed away but I never received correspondence from anyone. I believe I met Freddie's wife Gail a few times when pop and I were in North Carolina for our family visits. Again my apologies for not being able to write my condolences sooner.

Gail, it's been years since our youthful days growing up, yet love transcends time. Our days at Sunday School gave us a foundation to build faith in God. So while Jesus gives us the hope of a Resurrection, our almighty Heavenly Father Jehovah guarantees it. Please accept my sincere condolences at this time.

Parker Family, I am saddened by Freddie transition to a better place. He will be missed but take comfort that you will meet again, so for now, let's enjoy the memories!
