Ms. Delois Laverne Lea McDonald 69, of 315 Key St., transitioned on December 27, 2016 at Cone Health-Alamance Regional Medical Center.   She was born to the late Edward J. Lea and the late Mrs. Addie Pearl Crisp Lea in Alamance County, NC.  She was a devoted member of Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church.

     Survivors include: her sons: Abdul-Alif Jaleel Dugod and Brandon McDonald (Rana); two sisters: Sylvia Ann Lea Connors and Rosalind Elaine Lea and God-daughter Selena Hudson and God-son Christopher Williamson, Brother in-law, Lamont Connors.  She was preceded in death by her two brothers: Clifford T. Lea and McArthur Lea.
