Mr. Clyde Junior Harris was born on June 24, 1946 to the late James Henry Harris and the late Erma Johnson Harris in Person County, North Carolina.  

He was married to the late Ruth Marshall Harris and for 35 years he worked with the Warp Department at Copeland Fabrics.  He was baptized at an early age at Hester’s Grove Baptist Church.  He loves playing horse shoes, spades, helping others with the Habitat Homes for Humanity and landscaping.  

He is survived by: two children: Tarboris Love and Katie Love; 6 siblings: Shirley Poteat, Marie Harris Bryant (Hulon), Mary Harris, Jeanice Harris, James Elbert Harris and Charles Harris; 10 grandhcildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

He departed this life on May 2, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center.  He now joins his parents, wife, son: Carl Love and siblings: Richard Harris, William Harris, Earlie Harris, Linda H. Richmond and Faye H. King.  What a heavenly reunion.
