Mr. Charles H. Lea, 83, of 1235 Apple St. transitioned on November 23, 2017 at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell. Mr. Lea was a retiree of Burlington Industries with 34 years of service. He was a 1954 graduated of Jordan Sellars High School, a trustee at Ebenezer UCC and a United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Lea was the son of the late Jerry F. Lea and Mary Corbett Thompson Lea Davis.

Charles is survived by a sister, Hattie D. Stevens (Howard) of Baltimore, MD, special nephew Jerry “Jai” Lea Jr. (Dorothy) of Rockville, MD and of host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lea was proceeded in death by his siblings Wilbert Lea, Coy Lea, Issac Thompson, William Thompson, John Thompson, Jerry Lea Sr., Mammie Jones, Nettie Garland, and Ressie Fuller.
