I would like to share a comforting scripture from God's inspired Word, the Bible with the family. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! The death of a loved one is hard to bear. Please take comfort in knowing that your heavenly father understands your pain as he too experienced the death of his son, Jesus Christ. Job 14: 14, 15 shows that God yearns to bring your dear loved one back to life. For more information about God’s promises, please visit the website JW.ORG. Please accept my heartfelt condolence for your loss.

Brenda, I was so shocked to hear of Billy's transition to Paradise. Terry and I always enjoyed the times we'd run into Billy and you. He and Billy would cut up and keep us all laughing continuously. Praying for your strength and acceptance during this difficult time. May God wrap His loving arms around you and the entire family. Much Love! Vondra H. Jones

To the family of Mr. Torain,

My husband and I feel so saddened to learn about the passing of Mr. Torain. How we would look forward to seeing him as we would pass by his house. His wave and smile was like seeing an angel in the sky releasing such wonderful feelings of love and sincerity. Let there be comfort in knowing he is with all the angels of Heaven, with his continued waving to all of us down here as our earthly lives continue. How blest all of his children must feel to know their Father left others feeling so wonderful inside. There are no words to express how much he will be missed but his "wave" and "smiles" will be etched in our hearts forever. May God Bless all of his family. Stay strong in the Lord and He will never let you down.

To my girl, Brenda, I am heartbroken to hear of Billy's passing. I will always remember his laugh, his upbeat personality, his cooking, (gracious, his cooking!) and also his gift at having the most beautiful grass in Alamance County. I'll be lifting you and your family up in prayer in the days to come. I will be out of town tomorrow and will not be here to attend this wonderful man's celebration and home going, but know my thoughts, prayers and my heart will be with you. I love you girl.

This hurts. I have loved Billy and Brenda since I was 16 years old. They are the perfect couple, always happy and spoiling each other. Brenda, and all the kids and grand babies I'm praying for you right now. I love you.

I was a recipient of Mr. Torain's "Ministry of Friendliness" and always looked forward to seeing him in his yard. I had missed him recently and wondered why he was not out waving. He brought joy to my heart although I was not fortunate enough to know him personally. Learning of his passing brought many tears to my eyes and I will sincerely continue to miss him whether I am on Front Street or in my home or elsewhere. May his family and friends be truly blessed knowing he has been welcomed in Heaven with many open arms.

Wow, I'm saddened to hear of this great man's passing. Please tell me how do we say goodbye to one that's always waving hello? I will always remember waving man and will never forget all of the smiles that were put on my face every morning on my way to work as I traveled down Front Street. I can only imagine that the streets are lined in plush fescue and he's waving to us all letting us know it is well with his soul. I will miss you my precious friend....until we meet again. My condolences to his precious family.
