Message from NEW JOY ONE ACCORD CHURCH

The New Joy Church Family will have a void in our congregation. Sis Bard ( as we call her) was a blessing to our church. She was always ready & willing to do what ever she could to help the growth of the church. She was more than just a member, because who ever she met became like family to her. She was always such a joyful person and would lift up anyone she came in contact with. she'll always be remembered as a person that had so much love to give. She will be greatly missed .

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a funny lady. (If they had emoticons here I would put that one that be cheesing all hard to follow that statement lolol). Whenever I had the opportunity to see her, I always knew I was gonna laugh soon and ... I would. She is missed and will be by many. One good thing is you guys are not alone to bear this, you have each other and you need to continue to hold each other up.
Too many times you are going to hear from folks that nothing can buffer the impact of your loss but, prayer and time. I have buried a few loved ones and I never want to hear that, but I have come to learn through experience that this is tried and true, even when relationships end or you have a bout of depression.
What I want to add to this is that in your time of healing try your best to keep people who are positive in your surroundings as you endure this. People who truly mean you good and things and situations that are beneficial to you. Cut all takers, slackers, and people who promote negativity loose. If you have never considered who or what brings this into your life, now might be the time. It is hard to get through and heal with this pulling on you too.
