Miss. Alma Louisa Jeffries was born in Alamance County on January 7, 1917 to Joe Thomas Jeffries and Daisy Parker Jeffries, both deceased.  She departed this life in her home on May 17, 2017 at the age of 100.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Harvey, Walter, Levi, Wallace and Clifton Jeffries. 

She is survived by her sister: Avery J. Corbett; nieces: Alma C. Flood (Cornelious), Alita Corbett, Machone Foust (Boris) and Florence Jeffries and nephew: William Jeffries.
